The Governance Group will help shape the strategic direction of the new Te Mako Naenae Community Centre. The success of the Governance Group relies on having Members who hold the skills, experience and background required to provide guidance and sound advice on operating a sustainable community centre. These skill areas include; but are not limited to:
- business acumen
- facilities management
- events management
- finances and accounting
- workforce development
- human resources
- the law
- community development
- community engagement
- Te Ao Māori
Members may hold more than one area of expertise.
