Te Poari o ngā Kaihaumanu Hinengaro o Aotearoa (the Board) is the regulator for Psychotherapists. They protect the public interest by registering Psychotherapists, setting standards, ensuring compliance with those standards, and acting where there are concerns.
The Registrar takes a lead role in providing effective management and administrative services to the Board, as well as ensuring the statutory functions of the HPCA Act are implemented. It combines a focus on regulatory compliance with a commitment to authentic, meaningful collaboration.
