Part-Time Volunteer Coordination

Job Description

Are you an admin whizz? Join us - be part of a team that supports volunteers and volunteer-based organisations across Hawke's Bay!

Key Responsibilities include:

● Effective management of VHB emails and phone calls
● Managing the systems and processes to connect volunteers with organisations via the website, phone calls, emails
● Managing stats and data for reporting purposes from the Admin dashboard of the VHB database  system
● Supporting administration and logistics for special projects, training events and initiatives
● Supporting the effective recruitment, training, management and appraisals of VHB volunteers to ensure they are positively engaged and performing at their best
● Overseeing volunteer schedules, timesheets and expenses
● Supporting the social media schedule with relevant engaging content

Job Summary

This role supports VHB's work in Hawke's Bay: Advocacy, training and networking opportunities -and helping volunteers and organisations that need them to find each other.

Salary

20 hours/week. Annual salary, 60,000 pro rata.
