The Auckland Community Housing Trust is an incorporated charitable Trust established in July 2006 to assist people with housing needs to access and retain suitable housing within their financial means. Priority is given to people with mental illness or disability.
The Trust is governed by a stable, committed, and experienced Board of five trustees with long and varied experience in property and social housing management, mental health and disability services, social policy and financial planning. The Board meets bi-monthly, and has strong visions and values, a future where people in housing need, and have access to decent, affordable, and secure housing.

The Trustees remain committed to achieving the vision of the Trust, and to driving through the changes that need to be made over the next 3-5 years to the operation, and that enable the Trust to take advantage of current and future opportunities to grow and improve housing and services
Auckland Community Housing Trust are seeking to appoint another committed Trustee following the resignation and retirement of our long standing Treasurer and Trustee.
This position is voluntary and requires approximately 1-2 hours per month (email correspondance) and attendance to a bi-monthly Board Meeting (1.5 hours) & AGM followed by BOT Meeting in December.
