Job Description

Skill New Zealand is a Category 1 Private Training Establishment that has recently moved to a new Campus in Manukau City. We are in an exciting phase of growth and development, and we are currently looking for a full time Health and Wellbeing Programme Leader.

The role is principally to provide support by operationally managing the academic leadership, programme design, assessment, evaluation, and (where applicable) managing programme staff for the programme(s) they have been designated to lead.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant health or social science and have 2-5 years experience in the health or social practice sector, preference given to these applicants
  • Have Teaching experience in the New Zealand Tertiary Sector, preferably an Adult Education Qualification, or a willingness to undertake the study.
  • Have 4098 certificate or willing to undertake the study
  • Have great written and oral communication skills and sting computer literacy
  • Be able to interact with various age groups and various cultures
  • Be self-motivated and independent, with a can-do attitude
