Job Description

Clinician to provide non-violence programmes.

(Motueka based)

 

Do you want to improve the safety and wellbeing of members of the Nelson - Tasman community who have been impacted by family violence?

 

We want to inspire all people including users of violence, to make lifelong changes to improve safety for themselves and their children.

 

We are seeking an experienced Clinician/Facilitator with a passion to work with our clients on their journey towards positive change. The role requires working with adults, specifically users of violence to address how their behaviour affects others and learn skills to have healthier relationships with whānau and the wider community.

 

Knowledge and skills in trauma and working with the dynamics that contribute to episodes of family violence and supporting behaviour change. A qualification in social work or counselling would be an advantage.

 

Join a team of trained specialists in this field working through support and empowerment, to break the cycle of family violence for whānau in our community. We look forward to hearing from you.
