Job Description

Here at Project Tongariro,  we are on the hunt for an Education Coordinator (Southern Ruapehu District).

We are looking for someone to work with schools, early childhood centres, and the community on restoration projects and other hands-on environmental education initiatives.

The successful applicant will be willing to work from home and use their own vehicle to travel to and from schools and organisations.

To be considered for this position you will need to reside in the Southern Ruapehu Region (Ohakune / National Park / Raetihi & Surrounds) as there is a large area to cover in this region.  You will also have your own reliable transport (a travel allowance is included).  

This would ideally suit a teacher or someone with education experience.  This position will be 25 -30 hours a week and fixed term (April 2024- Dec 2025).
