Jade Speaks Up Educational Trust is seeking new trustees to join our Board.
We are a kaupapa-led charitable trust working to keep child wellbeing at the heart of learning. Through our programmes, resources and training, we support adults who work with children to grow confidence, build emotional literacy and respond well to the big feelings and difficult experiences tamariki may be carrying, including anxiety, bullying and family harm.
Our work is focused on creating safer, more connected environments for children by equipping the adults around them with practical tools, shared language and greater confidence. As our reach continues to grow through partnerships, training and online learning, we are looking for new trustees to help guide the next stage of our journey.
We welcome expressions of interest from people with governance experience and a strong alignment with our kaupapa. We are especially interested in people with experience in one or more of the following:
child wellbeing, mental health or education
A deep understanding of Te Tiriti in Aotearoa today
community connections and stakeholder engagement
strategy, risk and financial oversight
government, policy or systems experience
Our trustees help hold the organisation’s vision, mission and values, think strategically, contribute independently and work collectively in service of tamariki, whānau and communities.
Trustees are appointed for a three-year term, renewable once.
Please contact us admin@jadespeaksup.co.nz with your expression of interest, a formal cover letter and CV.
