Job Description

Are you passionate about improving the performance of New Zealand’s homes and neighbourhoods?

Do you understand what it takes to deliver high quality action research and partner with others to bring about positive change in the built environment?

We are seeking expressions of interest for new board members.

We are looking for people who can bring fresh ideas, great strategic thinking, strong networks and a willingness to contribute in a governance role. The position requires preparation for and attendance at board meetings (usually quarterly) and may occasionally require attendance at additional meetings.

A board member is appointed for a term of two years and is eligible for re-election after that two-year terms. Meetings are held in Auckland and can be joined in person or online. Board members contribute in a voluntary capacity although relevant expenses may be covered.

  • conduct new research that informs change to improve homes and neighbourhoods.

Beacon Pathway has made an important contribution to the housing landscape in Aotearoa over the past two decades. As an organisation we have evolved in response to the operating environment. We are seeking new energy and leadership to support Beacon to reach its mission, in its next phase.
