Today, CMNZ remains committed to enriching the lives of our communities through music. We want to ensure that we are responsive to contemporary Aotearoa New Zealand, reflecting the unique and distinct characters of our people and our place. We strive for inclusiveness across our work and seek ways in which we can enhance access, connecting with a greater number of people within our communities. Our vision sees us embrace the tremendous versatility that is inherent within chamber music, embodying the spirit of intense, intimate, music up close experiences across a wide range of repertoire and musical genres and styles, connecting us to a diverse range of audiences and communities. CMNZ offers an annual programme nationally that encompasses the CMNZ series, In Partnership series, the annual NZCT Chamber Music Contest and a dynamic community engagement programme.
