Little Miracles Trust

About Us

Originally called The Neonatal Trust, we were established in 1986 by two Wellington families with extremely premature babies.  We are now proud to be The Little Miracles Trust - Aotearoa New Zealand's national neonatal charity, operating right across New Zealand.

The Little Miracles Trust provides support to the whānau of premature and critically ill full-term babies, as they make their journey through neonatal intensive care and special care units, the transition home, and onwards. 

This is done in many ways: cot-side peer support in every New Zealand NICU, the provision of Emergency Care Packs on entry to every unit; morning teas to bring whānau and experts together; resources to support hardship; and a national network of post-discharge playgroups. 

We have passionate and dedicated team members based in Auckland, Middlemore, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin NICUs supported by a back-office team. Most of our team have first-hand experience of time in a NICU or SCBU. So we know exactly what it’s like – and just how to help.

Salary:
$28.95 per hour. Parking costs are also covered.
