North Harbour Budgeting Services Inc

North Harbour Budgeting Services is a charity funded by MSD and grants provided by like-minded donors. Our goal is to have our community understand the importance of financial literacy but acknowledge that many in our community are experiencing financial hardship. We provide a supportive and culturally-aware service that gives immediate assistance and educates in a way that helps people help themselves. Our people improve the lives of those in our community through financial mentoring and education.

This is done by

• Providing support and advocacy for clients
• Where needed, negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients
• Assist clients to develop basic financial skills through education and with ongoing financial mentoring
• Facilitating seminars and workshops in schools, workplaces, tertiary institutions, community organisations and other agencies.
