We are a not for profit organisation with many years of experience successfully working in the disability sector. Since our inception in 1989, we have continued to grow in mana (strength) and to provide best practice services to people with intellectual disabilities. Based in Hamilton, we work with communities throughout the middle of the north island including the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki. Part of being an evolving organisation means we are constantly seeking innovative ways to enable us to meet and exceed the needs of the people we support. Community Living employs more than 500 people in various roles to ensure we offer the best support possible, we encourage our staff to upskill and be creative thinkers in the ever-changing world we live in. We work in partnership with the people we work for, their whanau/families and the broader community to facilitate each person living a life of their choice. We envision a society where people with intellectual disabilities live fulfilling lives.
