The Kapiti Waldorf Trust is a not-for-profit charitable Trust, which is the proprietor of land and buildings of 89 Poplar Ave, the site of Te Ra Waldorf School, governed by the Te Ra School Board. Te Ra School is a state integrated primary school, with a Special Character of being a Waldorf Steiner School. The elected Te Ra School Board (equivalent to every NZ State School) governs the school, ensuring the delivery of the NZ Curriculum, and the Kapiti Waldorf Trust upholds/maintains the Special Character aspect of the education. It also owns the licence for the Early Childhood Centre on the same site: the Waldorf Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten Te Rawhiti. www.tera.school.nz
