The Food Basket CHB is a Food rescue Organisation with a customer-facing daily distribution focus.
We are a member of AFRA and work as a distribution hub for the New Zealand Food Network.
Locally we provide food for 700 households on average a week, and describe ourselves as a 'Social Food Hub'.
TFB CHB was started 5 years ago and still operates as a grass-roots org, with 45+ volunteer's and a G.Manager (recently salaried with cyclone relief funding)
