About Consumer and the Consumer Foundation

Consumer NZ exists to get New Zealanders a fair deal, operating as an independent voice that protects and empowers New Zealand consumers.  The Consumer Foundation is a separate legal entity that funds research projects in support of Consumer NZ to promote consumer welfare and public awareness of consumer issues.  It is governed by an independent Board of Trustees.
