The 502 Rangatahi Ora is a Youth One Stop Shop (YOSS) providing free health care and social support to rangatahi aged 10-24 years in Porirua.
Established at the end of 2021, and co-designed by rangatahi, we are already seeing hundreds of Porirua’s rangatahi, many of whom would not be accessing healthcare without The 502. Young people are coming in the doors, telling us how comfortable they feel, then they’re coming back and bringing their friends. What we are doing is working.
