Taranaki TimeBank is a community network where members exchange skills, time, resources and knowledge, for time credits instead of money and in the process foster equality, community connection and resilience. We believe timebanking could enable so many Taranaki locals to thrive in these challenging times.
Established in 2012 in New Plymouth, our community of three hundred approximately also has a strong base in Hāwera and plans to grow member hubs around Taranaki. We are a registered incorporated society. Our vision is “Rarangahia Tātou - Putting the Unity back in Community” by exchanging skills and experience for time, rather than money to enhance and support positive opportunities for Taranaki TimeBank members now and in the future... hour by hour.
