Roimata Commons Trust is a registered charitable trust that is creating solutions to solve issues around food sovereignty and community wellbeing in Ōtautahi.
We have 3 main Projects:
- Roimata Food Commons - the physical development of a public space to increase the level of wellbeing of the community, as well as instigate deep ecological change.
- Toha Kai - supporting an increase in mental and physical wellbeing through increasing access and affordability of healthy, local organic kai.
- Toha Kai Farm - development of a net energy positive farming system near Tai Tapu, to supply Toha Kai.
