The Prince’s Trust Aotearoa New Zealand is part of a global family of charities founded by HM The King. We are active in more than 20 countries, both within the Commonwealth and beyond. In a rapidly changing world, we deliver education, employment, enterprise and environmental projects that enable young people and communities to thrive.
The Prince’s Trust was founded in 1976 in the United Kingdom by the then Prince of Wales with the vision that every young person should have the chance to succeed. That vision remains unchanged today, almost 50 years later.
In Aotearoa, we launched in late 2018 by listening to young people and their hopes for the future. Based on active youth participation, we specialise in enterprise and entrepreneurship. We accelerate young New Zealander’s agency as drivers and changemakers in our economy, communities and environment.
