ME Auckland is a registered charity with the purpose of improving the well-being of individuals suffering from ME/CFS in the Auckland region. The organisation is run by a dedicated board who oversee the operations and governance of the organisation. We have support workers and a supervisor who directly support and advocate for those with ME and their carers.Our purpose is to improve the well-being of individuals suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and/or Fibromyalgia in the Auckland region.Objectives:1. To provide best practice support and advocacy for the ~6000 people living with ME/CFS and related conditions in the Auckland region 2.To p rovide research informed information and educational opportunities for people living with ME/CFS (and their family/caregivers) in the Auckland region, that enable them to effectively navigate their own well-being pathway3. To raise awareness and promote understanding of ME/CFS and related conditions
