Swimming Southland

Swimming Southland is the regional governing body for swimming across the Southland region of New Zealand, supporting 11 affiliated clubs and promoting participation, development and achievement in the sport. We provide leadership, administration and coordination for swimming activities, creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, from Learn to Swim and recreational participation through to competitive and national-level swimming.

We support clubs, swimmers, coaches, officials and volunteers through events, development programmes, education and regional initiatives. Our focus is to make swimming accessible, inclusive, safe and enjoyable, while building skills, confidence, community connections and pathways for lifelong participation and sporting success.
