The Rowley Community Centre (formerly Rowley Resource Centre) is a community development organisation based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Established in 1990, the Centre was originally created to support young mothers experiencing social isolation and limited access to community support networks. Over time, the organisation evolved from providing targeted support services into a broader community development agency focused on strengthening local communities and empowering residents.
The organisation became an Incorporated Society in 1993 and was subsequently registered as a charity with the Charities Commission in June 2008 (CC32664).
In April 2023, the organisation transitioned from an Incorporated Society to a Charitable Trust, reflecting its ongoing commitment to effective governance and sustainable community development. The organisation continues to operate as a registered charity under Charity Registration Number (CC32674).
