Sustainability Trust is a social enterprise operating in Te Upoko-o-te-Ika-a-Māui
(wider Wellington region). We operate under a community/social enterprise
model.
The Trust has business units that trade primarily in heat pumps, insulation and
other home-related products and certification services to improve energy
efficiency and sustainable living for residents. Any financial surpluses are spent
on supporting our social and environmental operations. These operations also
receive substantial Government funding and/or external commercial
sponsorship to cover delivery of service.
Our services include free curtains via Wellington Curtain Bank and a range of
housing support services to low-income households via the Healthy Homes
team.
