Sustainable Whanganui Trust is an umbrella organization that supports community action on  sustainability in Whanganui.

From advocacy and media presence on issues of waste reduction and active travel, we can support new initiatives to emerge from the community.

We focus on the promotion of and inspiring caring resilient communities as we strive to engage individuals, businesses and organizations, to create a lasting positive impact on our region’s wellbeing, fostering a sustainable and resilient future for us all. 

Our projects are Green Bikes, Repair Cafe, Predator Free, Kids Creative Sessions, Greening Whanganui, Envirohub Refills and Reusable items
