Sustainable Papakura provides hands on, interactive, educational activities to support people to engage in sustainable lfestyles through reducing their impact on the planet. Conscious Consumption, re-use, repurposing and upcyclingare prioritised, along with recycling correctly through kerbside collection and by using hard to recycle options.
Sustainable Papakura is an Auckland Council Community WasteWise partner and is primarily a volunteer organisation with just a small number of paid part time roles.
