The Tait Foundation

The Tait Foundation was established in 1994 and is inspired by the legacy of Sir Angus Tait, founder of Tait Electronics. Its core purpose is to support STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education initiatives across Christchurch and Canterbury through grant funding at all levels of the education system. The Foundation exists to help develop New Zealand’s next generation of STEM talent. It is focused on increasing participation in STEM subjects throughout the education pathway and building the bridges needed to move students into science, engineering and technology careers.
