Federated Mountain Clubs of New Zealand Incorporated

Since 1931 FMC has been the leading voice for outdoor recreation in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Beginning as a small federation of tramping and alpine clubs, today we represent a growing membership of almost 100 clubs and organisations with over 22,000 members and around 1,000 individual supporters, as well as the wider outdoor community.

We are a national not-for-profit organisation led by an elected volunteer Executive Committee supported by a small staff and contractor team.
