Community Energy Network

The Community Energy Network is network of community-based energy service providers committed to improving the health, wellbeing, and energy resilience of households across Aotearoa. Our 28  members work at the frontline of energy hardship, delivering practical, place-based solutions that improve housing quality, reduce energy costs, build locally owned energy assets and support healthier homes.

CEN was established to to provide a hub function for these organisations, including services such as intra member coaching and mentoring, formal education opportunities (through Home Performance Advisor Training programme), developing partnerships with research organisations, and building a collective profile to support better policy and funding decisions from philanthropy, corporates partners and central and local government.
