Rotorua Pacific Islands Development Charitable Trust (RPIDCT)

Rotorua Pacific Islands Development Charitable Trust (RPIDCT) is a Pacific-led organisation established in 2000 to serve the wellbeing, and development of Pacific communities in Rotorua.

The Trust delivers a range of community-based services and programmes across early childhood education, youth development, Whānau Ora navigation, health promotion, and cultural and creative initiatives. A key focus of RPIDCT’s work is supporting holistic health and wellbeing, recognising the importance of physical, mental, spiritual, and social wellness for Pacific families.

RPIDCT partners with families, churches, schools, health providers, and government agencies to improve access, build capability, and address the evolving needs of Pacific peoples. Guided by Pacific values such as aiga, lotu, and cultural identity, the Trust is committed to empowering Pacific communities through culturally grounded, community-led approaches.

Its vision is to see Pacific people thriving, connected, and moving forward together.
