Volunteering Services is a division of SociaLink Tūhono Pāpori, an umbrella organisation that exists to build the capability, confidence, sustainability, and voice of the social and community sector in the Western Bay of Plenty.
As the volunteer centre for the region, Volunteering Services champions, grows, and sustains local volunteering by connecting people with meaningful opportunities, helping organisations find and support volunteers, and promoting the value of volunteering.
We envision a thriving volunteer community where people feel safe, valued, informed, supported, connected, and empowered — a place where volunteers are leading positive change. Our mission is to future-proof volunteering, recognising that volunteers are the heart and soul of our for-purpose organisations and communities.
