Porirua Multicultural Council (PMC) is a non-profit organisation and our vision is to empower a Te Tiriti based multicultural community, connecting everyone who calls Aotearoa home. Founded in 2018, the PMC supports migrants and newcomers settle in the Porirua region. We’re proud of the growing diversity in our city and provide support through diverse initiatives, helping people of all ethnicities feel included, so they can actively contribute to our community.
PMC is committed to delivering programs that support new migrants in adapting to life in New Zealand and fostering vibrant, connected communities where individuals feel valued and included. Our advocacy and collaboration lay the foundation for initiatives that empower ethnic communities, enhance visibility, and celebrate cultural diversity.
