Auckland Parents of Deaf Children Incorporated (APODC) promotes and facilitates informed, supportive and cohesive relationships between families and whānau with deaf children, living in the Auckland region. It believes that when families and whānau are well supported and connected as part of a peer network, deaf children can realise their full potential as active participants, and valued members within their respective communities. The society champions the right for deaf children to realise their full potential, by developing a positive, healthy, and secure self-identity.
