Kiwi Community Assistance (KCA) has become a ‘one stop’ distribution hub to local charities, foodbanks and community groups in the Greater Wellington region.Based in Grenada North, this is done by bringing the community together with the general public, supermarkets, local farmers markets, manufacturing companies, hotels, companies growing through rebranding, donating food, clothing and other household goods.Last financial year to 31st March 2021, KCA redistributed nearly 345 tons of food and over 2,900 banana boxes of clothing, shoes, linen etc to 123,000 receipients across the Greater Wellington region.
