Freedom Philosophy

Freedom Philosophy is a not-for-profit volunteering organisation that delivers a series of highly practical philosophy courses into prisons in New Zealand.  Our aim is to help and encourage prisoners to change their lives for the better, through the application of simple but effective life tools. 

We can provide training for our tutors and assistants to deliver our short courses, so previous facilitation experience or knowledge of philosophy is not essential.   

Currently we are seeking more volunteers with a mature, calm and steady disposition, who can spare 2-3 hours per week to help deliver our 6-week courses in the Hawke's Bay Regional Prison.
