Science Alive is a charitable trust that was established in 1990 with the mission to inspire the public in science and technology through a range of experiences. Our mission to bring science to everyone, everyday, everywhere is achieved through the number of initiatives we have implemented in the past and present.
After the loss of the beloved Science Alive centre in the 2010/2011 earthquakes, Science Alive operated through outreach with schools and communities of Canterbury. Due to the changing education landscape, Science Alive built its digital presence to spark curiosity, inspire innovation and promote discovery for future generations. We are excited to be launching into a new phase of Science Alive in 2024 with a new look and feel.
